Day 21 of The {31} Purge and it's ribbons everywhere and now I can't get that dang sound outta my head! "Tie a Yellow Ribbon Round the Ole Oak Tree"...thanks to Tony Orlando and Dawn! As far as curling ribbon goes...I've got tons of it to tie around the trees...and in every color available. Back in the day, when I was a Creative Memories consultant, I use to wrap a lot of packages and givaways when I held monthly crops in my home. AND for $.99 cents a roll you got a lot of bang for your buck and everything looks more festive with strands of curling ribbon all around it ;}
So I'm dropping all of this ribbon off at the Grow n'Learn Child Care Center where I left all those Highsmith party favor boxes...I'm sure they will appreciate it ;}
Then I found a basket full of wide, wired fabric ribbons that I'm donating to my sister and her crafty friends who are in the process of setting up a vendor table at a local craft fair in the next couple of weeks.
Perhaps they will have the time and creative energy to whip up a couple of these fantastic fall welcome wreaths like the uber talented Kathy of Sassafras Salvation blog created {and generously demonstrated in her DIY post here :} thanks for the inspiration Kathy!
Perhaps if I wasn't so tired...I would attempt to create one of these lovely wreaths for my lonely front door here at the Love Shack...really makes me want to paint my door red! However, it's just not in the cards for this year...I'm determined to stay focused and finish this purge!
Please let me know...if you feel so inclined to decorate your front door with a welcome wreath...and be sure to stop by and tell Kathy that Roberta sentcha ;}
Fondly, Roberta
Thanks, Roberta, for the feature. I'm glad you liked my wreath. It looks like your sis could go to town with all that lovely ribbon!
