Fresh n'Fast Chicken Tortilla Soup that is!
Last month I participated in a Soup-a-Palooza with TidyMom and Dine and Dish sponsored by Bush’s Beans, Hip Hostess, Pillsbury and Westminster Crackers. With over 230 entries, I was so excited to learn that I was one of the Pillsbury Bread Basket winners when TidyMom made her announcement here ;)
Then last night while I was fixing dinner {more of this soup ;} a package came and DH set it aside. I totally forgot about it until this morning when I was picking up the living room and "found" the box by the door. It's always like Christmas or your birthday when a box comes with a prize inside!
A better choice of prizes could not have been picked because...as most of you may already know...I'm such a fan of trays, baskets and carpet picnics! I can see this coming along with DH and I the next time we slip away for a weekend or, just overnight in a hotel room.
It came with everything we need, a cutting board, cloth napkins and a knife for spreading the honey and bellini jam. And for tucking underneath the bread and keeping it all warm and cozy is a BREAD stone...
which...by the way, I find this so simple and beautiful...that I'm going to place in my breakfront or on the wall in one of my plate racks in the kitchen. It will remind us everyday to be thankful for what we have...love it!
Tucked inside the basket, along with a few coupons for Pillsbury's refrigerated, Simply...Buttermilk and Simply...Rustic French Bread was a personal note from Pillsbury "thanking" me for participating and "congratulating" me for winning their prize package. It just tickles me pink inside when a company representative takes the time to personalize a message;) How about you...how does it make you feel?
I really want to say THANKS AGAIN, especially to Cheryl of TidyMom and to Dine and Dish AND all their sponsors (Bush’s Beans, Hip Hostess, Pillsbury and Westminster Crackers) for hosting such a fun blog party. Looking forward to participating in many more...especially the food blog parties because you find so many great recipes.
Hope you all have a wonderful evening.
Fondly, Roberta

It is the next A-List blogging bootcamp starting March 6th. Last year I joined the A-List Blogger Club when I first heard about it through Leo Babauta, Zen Habits (especially when I learned that Leo was one of the founders of the A-List Blogger Club). Since then I have participated in some of their previous Bootcamps and I've learned how to improve my About Page, how to write better blog posts and headlines and much, much more. That looks like a great win and everything you can use too. I started the challenge but didn't actually sign up. Hope to but we're eating everything in the house to get ready to go north so our meals are rather haphazard. I'm sure you're doing well. I still have a pair of Chico pants I need to feel more comfortable in....lol...I can button & zip but sit is another thing. I want to sit in them!
