Not that we have much room for a large throne here at the Love Shack ;)
The original is more like a stool and it was more than adequate and would never have been replaced had it not been for this baby...
That just so happened to slip out of my hands when I was organizing my medicine cabinet...AND land here:
How ironic I find it that this little jar of {firming ;} face cream could cause such destruction and suffer only a minor chip on the bottom...
It feels like the story of "David and Golieth" for sure.
That "David" knew to strike "Golieth" right at his weakest point...and cause such a crack that it would split around the bolt that secures the throne to the floor and around the seal!
However, there is a happy ending to this fable for a new throne has now been installed...
A modern low-flow throne that saves water and provides ample flushing power fit for a King & Queen.
BUT the best part...the sleek, smooth and so shiny sides ;)
Talk about low-maintenance...yeah! NO more exposed bolts and twisted, ceramic pipes to collect dust and hair and whatever else lurks down behind the bowl...we won't go there ;)
The only real issue...is the seat of the throne. First we have to have the plumber (a.k.a. Lowes) come back and fix this seat so that it lines up properly with the ceramic bowl...that is workable. However...the height of the seat causes a major problem for this Little Princess...
Slippers required when sitting for long periods of time! NOW I know why Jenny McCarthy wears her Candie's...guess I'll have to get me some ruby slippers ;)
Then I want to make a cute sign like this one featured in Apartment Therapy's house tour of Benjamin's Modern Glam Bachelor Pad...
This goes along with my wonderful post on B&M Beans...hey you can't hold me totally responsible...Apartment Therapy started it all ;)
What do you think of a little Jenny paper doll for my new throne?
Sure would make me smile every time I went into the bathroom. Hope you all can laugh along with me.
Fondly, Roberta
Very nice! You have to get that little sign, it's too cute!

What a fun, and informative, post. So much "useful" information.
I'm amazed at the picture of Jenny McCarthy, but then these days I guess I shouldn't be.
Loe the man sign too.
