What can I say...I'm still feeling frisky from our trip to New Orleans...SO last night in an effort to keep up my goal for one RAW food meal a day and to incorporate one of my new Superfoods, Coconut Oil, I decided to whip up a SPINACH DAIQUIRI ;)
So into the blender goes my blueberry pomegranate juice, scoop of superfood protein (it's full of the good green stuff ;) and two cups of spinach leaves...
Sorry this photo is to bad...it was late and dark in the kitchen ;)
Whip it up on your highest speed and watch it turn green...
At this point I decided to add the coconut oil...I started out with one teaspoon for this batch which makes two large shakes.
Throw in a handful of berries...any kind that you like and I don't measure...just throw in a handful!
It's so much fun to watch it turn from green to whatever color berries you've thrown it...I didn't know that PURPLE was higher on the color wheel than green?
Yummy! NOW you can add some ice if you like it to be chillin' AND you can add your favorite RUM to convert this to a DAIQUIRI.
All ready to serve...found these leftover cocktail napkins in my cupboard and thought they were very appropriate ;} Cause it's so RaaaaWRONG...but it tastes and feels so right!
So tell me...what is your guilty pleasure?
Incriminating minds want to know! Enjoy it...no matter what because life is just too short to be so serious all the time. OR how about this...Anything worth doing (be it bad or good) is worth doing well!
Fondly, Roberta
So I have been searching for coconut oil and I can't find it anywhere.. I need the key to your secret. But in an attempt to make this without it, I had to tweak it a little. I used V8 fusion+tea.. the raspberry green tea, mixed berries, spinach and flax seeds in powder form. I must say.. delicious!

That sounds soooo deeeeelicious! My guilty pleasure is a good shot of Ramazzotti (the Black one though..which is a bit harder to find but well worth it!)mixed in with my espresso (in an oh-so tiny cup;) This is excellent after a huge Italian-Sunday meal. Thanks Roberta!
