Work-for-Me Wednesday is a weekly blog link hosted by Kristen of, We are THAT Family
Modular Mates™—the answer to your dry food storage!
Modular Mates™ containers come in a variety of modular, stackable shapes and sizes that work together to maximize storage space. Their versatility allows them to be adapted to store many different kinds of dry foods. Virtually airtight, they'll keep contents fresh for a long time.
- Ovals and Super Ovals are slim, easy to grasp and perfect for narrow cabinets. Ideal for dry, pourable foods such as pasta, beans, rice or sugar. They're also convenient for storing flour, baking mix, baking soda, chocolate, nuts, bread sticks, croutons, hard taco shells, crackers, cearals or even tea bags and coffee filters.
- Squares stack well with the original ovals and are perfect for staples like flour, rice, snacks, or cereals. They can also be used to store sugar, pasta, coffee, teab bags, snacks or crackers.
- Rectangulars stack well with the super ovals and are ideal for deep cabinets. They are convenient for storing large quantities of your staples like flour, baking mixes, sugar, crackers and cereals.

Modular Mates™—the solution to your food pantry organization!
They are lightweight, scratch and stain resistant and the polished windows allow you to instantly to see what's stored inside. Safer than glass which can be bulky, heavy and hard to handle...yikes ;{
Preserve your spices...the most expensive food in your kitchen...in the Modular Mates® spice containers. Each shaker features a hinged seal that covers the top for storage and opens at either end for pouring or shaking. You can see in the above photo that I have several of these spice sets and they mix in beautifully with the ovals, rectangulars and squares.
You can mix them up and pick them individually according to your specific needs or purchase them as a set to build a perfect storage system. AND you can go here and Print Your Own Labels and Custom Kitchen Planning Storage Chart to help you customize your kitchens with Modular Mates® containers...how cool is that!
Now here is a tip that I use: place two labels on your containers, one in the front and one in the back so that your containers are more versatile, i.e., CHIPS on side and PRETZELS on the other so that whatever you have bought that week at the grocery store can go right into your container when you get home from shoppping. Really helpful for things either bought on sale and/or seasonably.
So...how can I help get you started...you are all asking? Since downsizing here to the Love Shack, my pantry has virtually disappeared...which is okay because with just the two of us I do not need to buy and store that many staples. So I have some slightly loved Modular Mates® that I am going to be giving away here on my blog. The first set is a square set and it contains one Square 1 (Retail $14.50); one Square 2 (Retail $15.50); one Square 3 (Retail $18.00); and one Square 4 (Retail $20.50); this 4-pc. square set has a Retail Value of $68.50!!!
Now I hope that you are not offended by my being GREEN and recycling my Modular Mates® this way...because I could go out ont ebay or Amazon and sell them used and actually make some money...if I wanted to. BUT I thought this was a better solution and it would help us both ;)
So to participate in my Modular Mates® Four Square Giveaway here is what you need to do:

I like your new 'About' page, the photo's are great! I also just noticed the "coming soon" on your side bar...I LOVE IT! I would have never thought about doing somthing like that, I may have to take that idea too! People have been giving me praise all week at work for how organized my classroom is, but they have no idea what organized is until they see your space! I'm jealous.

Hi Roerta, Thanks for your visit. I am trying to organize my pantry. It is a terrible design. Very deep and not wide. I'm looking at you containers to see if I can use some.
Have a great week.
Hugs, Jeanne

Good morning Roberta, I did re-post the giveaway set on my Blog today. Come and see. I really love the dresser set very much. As you can see I have already made good use of it. Thank you again
I am not the least bit organized.
My pantry is too deep and too small. I honestly try but what ever I do seems to be messed up in a very short time. sigh! I am working on my closet right now. The sweaters and cold weather clothing need to come off the top shelf. Cooler weather is already here in the mountains.
Have a happy day.
Hugs, Jeanne

Roberta, I just subscribed to your newsletter, I did not know you had one. Beautiful pantry, and yes I was thinking I need to work on mine. I have several sets of Tupperware storage items and I love them, so it would be wonderful to have more. Yippy.

That is great! I wish you had a picture from your Mint Hill house...that pantry was amazing! I'm going to post this on my side bar, I hope my readers enjoy this post as much as I did! I think I should invest in some of the spice Mates, the store packages that thay come in are small and I can't get a teaspoon in the spices when I make Apple Pie!
