What can I say...Labor Day is NOT my favorite Holiday! Why? You may ask...because it is a big END OF SUMMER party for everyone and I do not want to celebrate the END OF SUMMER! Cause truth be told...I HATE FALL! You can try to make it sound more appealing by calling it AUTUMN...BUT it doesn't help me one bit. FALL means all the leaves FALL off the trees and that means WINTER IS COMING...and if you think my hatred for FALL is bad...then you do not want to get me started on how I feel ABOUT WINTER...let's just say I'm an ICE QUEEN...very cold!
So...with that being said...I am trying to make the best of this long weekend...there...that makes me feel better...LONG WEEKEND! So I'm laying around the house, doing as little as possible...yes I showered and got dressed...in my favorite summer PJ's ;) BECAUSE I am NOT LEAVING THE HOUSE! I am hanging out here at the house in my PJ's all day, eating leftovers and laying around READING my SUMMER NOVEL...and I'm not moving until I finish it...I'm on the last 100 pages out of 600 ;)
AND to make the best out of this BUM HOLIDAY...I'm sharing some great GIVEAWAYS that my blogging buddies Lucy & Amy are having this month...

AND now thanks to the author, Elizabeth Ashworth and the publisher, Amy is able to offer one book for a giveaway that ends September 15thand is open internationally...woo hoo!
SO...have you all had enough Tudor mania...well HOLD ONTO YOUR HEADS...
Wolf Hall tells another side of the story aboutthe Tudor monarchy and the infamous, Henry VIII. Author Hilary Mantel tells the story of all the politics and power that surrounded Henry's reign. Read all about it in Amy's post with all the details for this giveaway that ends September 16th.
Wow...that was too much work for Labor Day ;) I'm off to the French Court now To Dance With Kings and to enjoy what is left of my holiday! Hope everyone else is enjoying their day as well.
Fondly, Roberta

I really like you Labor Day Post. I signed up for Josephines giveaway but I'm trying to slow down on entering book giveaways because I don't have much time to read now. I went to school today...yes, on a holiday, they said it would be open, but it was just me and a lone janitor so I left. I am a little sad about the end of summer, more because I have to start wearing a bra again than anything else!
Hope you have a good lounge day and enjoy the unofficial day of summer.
