This week I was pleasantly surprised by my DH with a (late to arrive Mother's Day) gift of artwork of two of my favorite Tudor women: Anne Boleyn and her infamous daughter, Elizabeth I...how sweet!
DH said that he was inspired after we had attended Art n'Soul the previous week, when he saw my Renaissance Women pieces...ahhh ;) But I was really surprised when he told me how he found these prints? Apparently my DH is much more resourceful than I had given him credit for...lol
Two years ago I had asked for a piece of jewelry for my birthday from one of my favorite blogs that I follow: The Anne Boleyn Files. Which is a blog that is written and managed by Claire Ridgway who is a full-time freelance writer and closet history lover who now lives in Spain (lucky girl ;)
At the time I was reading and watching everything I could about the Tudors and I had participated in an essay contest hosted by Claire, in conjunction with the anniversary of Anne Boleyn's execution, in which I described my admiration for Anne Bolyen in an effort to win a fabulous Anne Boleyn necklace.
