Hard to believe that at one time I had over 40 pen pals. I loved getting letters, hand written or typed. I wrote books to each person, I really do miss that!

Hi Roberta
Sorry I have been so slack with posting comments! and I still need to respond to your lovely long comment you left on my blog! I love this idea. I LOVE writing REAL letters. In fact I always have. Long before the internet and email I had pen friends and getting a letter in the post is always WAY more exciting than seeing one in your inbox! I have a friend who lives in the UK and we write to each other quite often. In fact our "letters" span over months, so by the time we post our letters, they are more like a small novel! But it is so much fun. We have been doing this since I was 18! 15 years!! There is nothing in the world like letters!

TRAVEL CHIPBOARD ABLBUM

Mini "TRAVEL" Chipboard Album. Great way to showcase our love of weekends in Charleston, SC. Took this "BoBunny" class at The Scrapshack in Mooresville, NC and I'm so glad I did because I never would have tried one of these "chipboard" alpha albums without the great instructions. The kits come with everything (and more) that you need to complete this album in an evening. I've since purchased the "BEACH" and "BELIEVE" kits...can't wait to get to work on them next.

Love these "Rusty Pickle" mini albums! The black pages are masculine and were great with "bohemian" papers for a dramatic gift for my nephews high school graduation.

While at the Pink House in Charleston this past summer, I was having so much fun with Donna Downey in her classes that I asked to join her "Celebrate Life" workshop. Even though I had previously taken this class I was feeling the mojo and wanted to keep it going. So in lieu of doing a heart shape for the handpainted page, I decided on the "sun" and got my colors and inspiration from there.
