Oh wow...I just love the wall treatment in this video...of course the black furniture and travel theme are also my favorites ;)
This really makes me miss my black walls in our dinning room in our Mint Hill home...
Someday soon...I am so desperate to finish the walls in my master-bedroom and what I'd really love to do is some sort of a gallery wall on this end wall around my dresser since I do not have any other wall space here at the Love Shack.
This wall is really tall with the vaulted ceiling and I had to step out into the dinning room area to get the height of it into the photo.
WHOOPS...sorry for the messy bed and laundry that I'm putting away ;}
On the opposite wall is our headboard and tall dresser with a few ornate framed pieces.
Painting these walls black is simply not an option...but I still like the idea of a gallery wall with all my mixed frame styles and the shape like in this photo from Elle Decor.
And after seeing these creamy white walls in this restaurant...with all the different styles of frames...I'm really excited about using what I already have.
(sorry I don't have the photo credit so please advise if you do know and I'll be sure to give the proper credit ;)
Especially since most gallery walls that I'm seeing in magazines and on-line these days are using the same color frames and mats. I have a lot of silver and gold ornate frames and I do not wish to paint them all either...I've always liked the effect of the ornate frames mixed with my black furniture.
So tell me...do you also have tall, awkward shaped walls AND furniture arrangements that you have tried to compose a gallery wall display around?
If so, please share a link to your photos (in flicker, etc.) or your blog post link, if you've already shared your process on your blog, in the comments below. I can always use more inspiration!
