Wow! What a day...with the mail man, the UPS driver, the Federal Express driver and the post office I have had! It has been a Fabulous Fridayhere at the Love Shack with all sorts of deliveries...for which I have been the lucky recipient for...as well as a full day of wrapping rubber stamps to ship to all the lovely ladies who participated in the first Rubber Sale ;) So quickly, before it gets really busy again...I'm taking the time the demonstrate how much I appreciate all the fantastic bloggers who keep on giving!
First I want to thank all the lovely ladies who participated on Day 20 and Day 21, of my MASSIVE rubber stamp liquidation sale. Collectively they raised $66.00 for one of my favorite charities, The Mercy House. Now this might not seem like a huge amount but it is a great start for sure. There are still plenty of great deals left...over 40 sets of rubber stamps for next to nothing! AND all of the profits will still be going to The Mercy House. Kristen posted today about how a $3.00 donation...Spare Change to us...can really make a BIG difference so please hop on over and put your bids in NOW ;)

Now I want to tell you all about up the great deliveries I received once I got back from the Post Office delivering all those stamps! Back on October 26th, Cortney of Living & Loving in LA had a $45.00 CSN Store Giveaway to celebrate her 100th blog post...woo hoo! Well then she notified me on November 10th that I was the lucky winner and then I was so busy with my PURGE that I didn't have the time (or energy) to place an order. Then finally I found a pair of cute, short black boots that were in stock and in my size...woo hoo! Here's the catalog photo of the boots by Aerosole:
I do already own a short pair of brown boots {not black ;} that I wear all the time and I prefer them over the high-calf boots with jeans and pants...and I have to have a heel ;) Otherwise I would have to hem all of my pants to go with a new, shorter heel AND that is not happening...lol This heel is like a wedge in that the pad under the foot is also raised so it is really not as high as it might first appear. Very comfortable and stylish...don't you think? I know what some of you might be thinking...HEY didn't she just get rid of a bunch of shoes when she PURGED here? YES you are right I did purge a pair of short black boots...but mainly because they were too tight and didn't fit me anymore. SO see...I really did need a new pair...and they came just in time because we are suppose ot have snow here in Raleigh this weekend. Thanks a bunch Cortney ;)
Earlier today on facebook I watched this video on Ecosystem's wall...
AND I was so excited because I had won one of these great blank notebooks when I entered Stephanie's Ecosystem Notebook Bonus Giveaway on her blog, Under the Table and Dreaming. Stephanie has SO MANY great tutorials and giveaways on her blog SO please be sure to hop on over and check it out...you really do not want to miss her holiday decorations!
Last week I received a new book from Stef of Craftside and I just didn't have a chance to blog about it and show you all...
SO how cool is it that it...my beautiful, bright green, blank journal arrived today! With a sweet note from one of the employees from Ecosystem ;) So I quickly opened up my book and went to the website to register my serial number for my journal. It is a blank journal for artists and has a great storage pocket in the back to store all sorts of paraphernalia and bits. Not sure what I will be using this for just yet...but a girl can never have too many blank books! Thanks Stephanie and Ecosystem ;)
HOW appropriate is this. Maybe I should use my new Ecosytem journal to take notes about all the inspiration in this great book. I took a quick peak and this page grabbed my attention right away...
Don't you just love that heart! This gives me something to look forward to for the New Year when I can get creative again and back to my art journaling. In the meantime, I just want to enjoy the season and not wish away a single minute...time passes much too quickly on it's own without my wishing it away! Be sure to find your own inspiration by hopping on over to Craftside...and be sure to tell Stef that Roberta sentcha...this is the second book that I have won from her wondeful blog ;)
Hope that you all have had a Fantastic Friday and a wonderful weekend!
Fondly, Roberta

Look at you Miss Lucky! I really like the boots you picked out, they are really cute. Also, I watched the video and I think I may have to pick up one of those notebooks for myself. I love that it has that # inside and you can see where the products came from that made it. How cool is that?

Your mailman must love you...lol...Don is also a retired mailman and was never thrilled when the holidays came around. It was called prime time so none of them could get any vacation time in December because the volume was so large. Love your boots and alll your other goodies. Take care.
