Renee paid so much attention to all the details, like my love of everything red and black and french country and vintage ephemera.
She covered my box with black and white damask on the bottom and the lid has damask embossed red velvet. Then she added a vintage piece of jewelry with rustic linen and lace roses...ohh la la!
Renee left the inside of the Cigar box un-altered, which is fine with me because these boxes are art all by themselves and I love looking at the colorful ladies that seem to adorn all Cigar boxes.
AND loads of vintage ephemera for my art journals ;)
BUT my very favorite thing of ALL is that Renee made me a hand-made knit hat...
Oh boy...I only hope that I did as well for you and that you are as pleased as I am ;}
AND NOW I have another swap to share with you all...that is my Super Styling Bag Swap that was hosted by Sew, Mama, Sew. Previously, I posted about the bag that I made for my Swap Partner, Faith of Moms Creative Touchblogspot and yesterday I received the bag that she sewed for me...
Faith is so very talented and she put a lot of detail in her bag...like a zippered pocket with solid trim on the inside along with two additional pockets on the inside. AND be sure to check out the trim on the outside pockets as well! Let alone, the great fabrics that she picked out and in my favorite colors!
THANKS SO MUCH FAITH...I really love the size and shape of this bag and can see it being my new WINTER accessory...ALONG with my matching hat that is!
If you would like to see more of the completed bags, then hop on over to the

AND then for all those curious souls who want to check out what all the Bloggerette Sisters got, then be sure to hop on over to Karen's blog for the links on her sidebar.
